IRREGULAR SLABS
Also terrazzo or opus incertum

What is normally called "terrazzo" is constituted by irregular slabs coming directly from the selection of quarry material. These polygonal size slabs have a natural surface and rough-cut edges. They are distinguished by their sizes and thickness. The terrazzo is one of the most popular porphyry products, thanks to its flexibility and ability to adapt to various situations. Its strength is its low cost and ease of installation. It is normally used for the paving of external areas such as squares, gardens, interior and exterior wainscoting etc.
  TYPES AVAILABLE


NORMAL TYPE
The most popular type, is ideal for surfaces where there is little or no traffic (but not suitable for areas with  a heavy intense traffic).
NORMAL THIN TYPE
Particularly apt for facades of buildings, pool edges, balconies, courtyards, walkways, pedestrian areas, gardens etc. This type too is not suitable for areas with a lot of traffic.

GIANT TYPE
Used for any type of paving, whatever the traffic intensity is. It is very good looking for gardens pathways etc.
GIANT THIN TYPE
This product is ideal for areas with little or no traffic or for facades. It is bigger than the normal thin type but has a quite similar use.
SUPER GIANT TYPE
Laid down usually on pure sand in places such as gardens, parks, paths, etc.: the grass between the slabs always creates a very effective scene. It is ideal for green pathways.
